1. Who we are
ZML Motors (“we”) provides vehicle sourcing, sales, consignment and shipping-coordination services. Contact details are on the Contact page.
2. What we collect
When you use our forms or contact us, you may provide: name, phone and WhatsApp numbers, email, vehicle details, photographs, shipping references and message content. This static website currently stores none of this — forms operate in demo mode until a secure backend is connected. Once live, submissions will be stored on secured infrastructure described in our technical documentation.
3. How we use information
To respond to inquiries, prepare estimates and quotes, review consignment submissions, verify and moderate reviews, coordinate shipments, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
4. WhatsApp communication
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your communication is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We pre-fill only non-sensitive text (such as a vehicle reference) in WhatsApp links — never identity documents, passwords or private information.
5. Photographs and reviews
Customer and vehicle photographs are published only with explicit consent. License plates and personal documents are blurred or removed before publication. You may request removal of your review or photo at any time (see REVIEW-CONSENT.md for the full workflow).
6. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no tracking cookies. It stores one value in your browser's local storage: your language preference. No analytics are installed by default; if added later, this policy must be updated.
7. Data retention and your rights
Placeholder: define retention periods and access/correction/deletion request procedures with counsel. Customers may request a copy or deletion of their data via the contact channels above.
8. Security
Before launch, all form handling must run over HTTPS against a secure backend with server-side validation, access control and encrypted storage, as documented in SECURITY_CHECKLIST.md.
